Jason Wilhelm has been a teacher at Academy of the Canyons since 2009, and was previously a teacher at SCV Early College High School. He served in the Navy for five years before completing his education and entering the teaching profession. He holds a BA in English and a California Secondary Education English Credential from the California State University, Northridge, as well as an MA in Education, Curriculum and Instruction from California State University, Bakersfield. In his teaching career he has taught all levels of high school English and Composition, as well as Journalism, Yearbook and Mythology. In addition to spending time with his wife and children, outside of school he loves snowboarding, skateboarding, hiking, camping, traveling, reading, writing, learning, and, ultimately, living life.
